Virtual Vacation...

In the fall we talked about getting away this winter for a vacation... well, neither of us took a proactive approach on it all as fall came & went & winter was on track to do the same. As I was working on my scrapbooks & finally getting to scrapping our Kauai vacation from 5 years ago, I began to think that our winter vacation would indeed be a virtual one -- relived through the memories of our Kauai trip & then our trip to the Big Island of Hawaii 2 years ago.  Not sure what happened but I all of a sudden got the bug to go somewhere so I started looking for deals (Priceline rocks!) & we found ourselves deciding whether we wanted to go back to Kauai or try a new adventure in Florida.  We settled on Florida & 1 week later we boarded a plane & away we went with little more than a car, a general road trip route & the laptop to help us figure it all out as we went!  We had a fantastic time despite having cooler temperatures than are normal & windy conditions most of the week!  Stay tuned for some blog recaps of our trip with pictures...
